This Privacy Policy explains how Helm Health & Wellness ("HELM," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit helmhealthandwellness.com, submit an application to become a patient, or use a HELM tool such as our marketing portal. By using our website you agree to the practices described here.
About your health information. HELM is a telemedicine practice. If you become an established patient, the protected health information created in the course of your care is governed by a separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which we provide at intake. Information you share through this website (for example in an application) is handled as described below and does not by itself create a provider-patient relationship.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and operate the practice.
- Information you provide. When you submit an application, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the state you are in, and the details you choose to share about your goals or health interests. If you contact us by email, we receive whatever you include in that message.
- Account information (portal). Members of our team who use the HELM marketing portal sign in with an email address managed through our authentication provider.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability. We do not use advertising trackers.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Service providers we rely on
We use a small number of trusted vendors to run the website and the practice. They process information only to provide their service to us, under their own terms and security commitments. These include our website hosting and serverless platform (Vercel), our transactional email provider (Resend), and, for the team portal, an authentication provider (Clerk), a database provider (Neon), and file storage (Vercel Blob). Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Where a vendor will handle protected health information on our behalf, we put an appropriate agreement in place before doing so.
How long we keep information
We keep application and contact information for as long as needed to evaluate and respond to your inquiry and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations, then we delete or de-identify it. Patient records, once a care relationship begins, are retained as required by law and described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
How we protect information
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to those who need it.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have provided through the website, and you may opt out of non-essential communications. To make a request, email us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, and we will honor those rights as required.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this website.
